October 29, 2025 - Wausau, WI - The Wausau Woodchucks are excited to announce that Field Manager Corey Thompson will be returning to the team for his 5th season in 2026!
During the regular season, Thompson led the team to break many records, including team batting average, runs scored, and stolen bases. The 2025 season marks the third time Thompson has led the Woodchucks to the playoffs in his four seasons as their field manager. October 23, 2025 - Rochester, Minn. - The Northwoods League has announced Owen Patterson of the Minot Hot Tots and Matt Clark of the Wausau Woodchucks have been named the 2025 Northwoods League Baseball TV Announcers of the Year. Owen Patterson of the Minot Honeybees was named the 2025 Northwoods League Softball TV Announcer of the Year.

October 21, 2025 - The Wausau Woodchucks and Wausau Ignite are always seeking ways to give back to the community that they call home. Whether it's by fundraisers, community appearances, or offering various programs, they strive to make Wausau a better place to live, work, and enjoy.

October 16, 2025 - Wausau, WI - When the Wausau Woodchuck took the field on August 2nd against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, they did so in specialty Hawaiian jerseys in designed in partnership with Aspirus Health. These jerseys were auctioned off to fans during the game, and a few were raffled off in the games after. The proceeds from these jerseys were donated to Safe Kids Marathon County.
