June 4, 2023 - WAUSAU, Wis. - Unlike the last few games, the bats were not as hot as the Woodchucks (6-1) took on the Dock Spiders (1-6) Sunday afternoon at Athletic Park, but a few key performances allowed for a 3-1 victory.
The first couple innings for both Wausau and Fond du Lac were slow, with both teams having 1-2-3 innings. That changed for the Woodchucks in the third inning when they scored one run.

June 3, 2023 - ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - The bats were hot as they have been lately at Capital Credit Union Park Saturday night, helping the Woodchucks to an 8-4 win.
Wausau (5-1) started their night off early, scoring three runs in the first, two in the second, and two in the third.
They would also not allow any runs to Green Bay (4-2) past the third inning, where they put up three runs.
A run was added by Wausau in the seventh to extend the three-run lead at the time to four.

After three straight wins at home, the main question was would Wausau (4-1) perform as they did on the road Monday in Madison, and that answer was no.
Taking on an undefeated Green Bay team - the last remaining unbeaten in the Northwoods League - would be a test for this team, and they passed with flying colors, winning 7-4 Friday night at Capital Credit Union Park.

Right out the bat Thursday night at Athletic Park, runs were being scored. It started with four total in the first inning, with Lakeshore (1-3) leading 3-1.
Wausau (3-1) would put up a seven-run second inning immediately after and would not trail again. The closest Lakeshore would get is to within one, which would happen after they recorded four runs in the third.
