February 12, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond Kickers defender Griffin Garnett has completed a transfer to Hungarian club Ferencvárosi, the two clubs announced Thursday. A Richmond native, Garnett will move to the Europa League and Nemzeti Bajnokság I side for a USL League One record six-figure fee. Richmond Kickers Sign Dynamic Forward Tyler Freeman

January 14, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Kickers have signed attacker Tyler Freeman ahead of the 2026 season, the club announced Wednesday. The Overland Park, Kansas native brings experience across MLS, USL Championship, MLS NEXT Pro, and international youth competition. Freeman developed through the Sporting Kansas City Academy, joining the organization at age 11 before becoming the second-youngest player in club history to sign an MLS contract at just 15 years old. January 13, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Kickers have signed veteran defender Sean Vinberg, the club announced Tuesday. A native of Long Island, New York, Vinberg makes his way to Richmond with nearly 10 years of professional experience across both the USL and multiple leagues internationally. Vinberg joins the Kickers after spending 2025 with Portland Hearts of Pine during their inaugural season.
