Squirrels Quiet in 5-1 Loss to SeaWolves
June 4, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Flying Squirrels were held to three hits and lost to the Erie SeaWolves, 5-1, on Thursday night at CarMax Park.
The Flying Squirrels (35-18) have dropped four-of-five, including back-to-back games to the SeaWolves (27-27), but maintained their 6.5-game lead in the Southwest Division standings with 15 games remaining in the Eastern League's first half.

Whitman Named Eastern League Pitcher of the Month
June 4, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond Flying Squirrels left-hander Joe Whitman has been named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Month for May, Minor League Baseball announced on Thursday.
The Flying Squirrels have swept the first two Eastern League Pitcher of the Month awards this season. Darien Smith won the award for April.

SeaWolves Rally Late to Beat Squirrels, 4-2
June 3, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Flying Squirrels surrendered four runs over the final two innings and lost to the Erie SeaWolves, 4-2, on Wednesday night at CarMax Park.
The Flying Squirrels (35-17) had their Southwest Division lead trimmed to 6.5 games over second-place Akron with the loss against the SeaWolves (26-27). There are 16 games remaining in the first half of the Eastern League season, which ends on June 21.

Squirrels Hold off SeaWolves for 8-7 Win
June 2, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - A trio of homers helped lift the Richmond Flying Squirrels to an 8-7 win over the Erie SeaWolves on Tuesday night at CarMax Park.
The Flying Squirrels (35-16) padded their Southwest Division lead to 7.5 games with 17 to play, taking the first of six games this week against the SeaWolves (25-27).
