Ems Pitching Staff Dominates Spokane in Series Opener

April 29, 2026 - EUGENE, OR - The Emeralds defeated the Spokane Indians by a final score of 3-1 to open up the series with a victory. It was an early start time today with first pitch at 11:05 AM but it didn't have any effect on the Ems as they cruised their way to the win. Eugene was able to strike first in today's contest. Jeff Criswell got the start for Spokane in his first appearance on the mound since August of 2024. Yunior Marte Named Northwest League Pitcher of the Week

April 27, 2026 - EUGENE, OR - Earlier this morning Yunior Marte was named Pitcher of the week in the Northwest League. Marte spun a gem against the Hops last Saturday, pitching the final 5 innings of a 5-2 win for the Emeralds. Marte allowed just 1-hit in his outing out of the bullpen, while issuing only 2 walks and striking out 6 Hillsboro batters. Emeralds Drop Series Finale to Hillsboro

April 26, 2026 - HILLSBORO, OR - The Emeralds dropped the series finale against the Hops by a final score of 3-1. Eugene had defeated the Hops 8 consecutive times this season including winning the first 5 games of the series to secure the series victory but they fell just short tonight. The Ems are now 16-5 on the season and will take either a 4 or 5 game lead in the standings pending the results of other games. Emeralds Break up No-Hit Bid in the 8th Before Scoring 5 Unanswered Runs to Secure Victory against Hillsboro

April 25, 2026 - HILLSBORO, OR - The Emeralds defeated the Hillsboro Hops by a final score of 5-2. The Emeralds were being no-hit through the first 7.1 innings of the game but after Walker Martin broke it up with a single, the Ems offense exploded for 5 unanswered runs en-route to their 5th straight victory this week.
