Axmen Announce 2025 Season Coaching Staff

April 24, 2025 - KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The Kingsport Axmen have announced their coaching staff for the 2025 Appalachian League season. The team will be led by returning manager Rick Adair. Adair returns for his second season leading Kingsport. He comes from a lengthy baseball background, including being drafted in the third round of the 1979 Major League Baseball Draft by the Seattle Mariners. January 21, 2025 - KINGSPORT, TN - The Kingsport Axmen have announced that Rick Adair will return as manager of the club for the 2025 season. This will be Adair's second season in Kingsport. Adair comes from a lenghty baseball background, including being drafted in the 3rd round of the 1979 Major League Baseball draft by the Seattle Mariners. January 13, 2025 - KINGSPORT, TN - Boyd Sports, LLC has announced that Makenzy Tester will be the Assistant General Manager of the Kingsport Axmen, effective today. Tester is a dedicated educator, sports enthusiast, and community advocate. She played basketball at King University, where she developed a strong foundation in teamwork and leadership. Kingsport Axmen Announce 2025 Season Schedule

November 11, 2024 - KINGSPORT, TN - The Kingsport Axmen announced their 2025 baseball schedule. The Axmen's first home game will be on Monday, June 9 in a matchup with the Bristol State Liners. The 2025 Appalachian League regular season begins June 5 and runs through July 30. The Axmen schedule is highlighted by hosting the Burlington Sock Puppets for 3 games to kick off the month of July.
