Tacoma Rainiers News Release
TACOMA, Wash. - Mike Zunino's three-hit, four-RBI night powered Tacoma to a 9-4 win over the Sacramento River Cats at Raley Field on Monday night.
Zunino's sacrifice fly in the first inning helped the Rainiers jump out to a quick 3-0 lead. The catcher later chipped in a two-run single en route to Tacoma taking a 6-2 lead in the second, and then belted a solo home run to stretch the Rainiers advantage to five runs in the third.

Tacoma improved their team batting average to .341 after combining to collect a season-high 16 hits. Five Rainiers players collected multi-hit efforts, led by Eric Thames who went 4-for-5 with a double to up his average to .550 this season.
Along with Zunino, outfielder Endy Chavez turned in a three-hit effort and reached base six times for Tacoma. Infielders Nate Tenbrink and Carlos Triunfel each contributed a pair of hits.
