Round Rock Express News Release

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Texas Rangers have made a couple of roster moves that will impact the roster of their Triple-A affiliate, the Round Rock Express, the teams announced Tuesday.

The contract of RHP Nick Tepesch has been purchased by the Texas Rangers. Tepesch is expected to make his Major League debut in tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. The 24-year-old was the Express' Opening Day starter this year, going 5.0 innings, giving up one unearned run on five hits. He struck out five batters and didn't allow a walk en route to his first Triple-A win.

Additionally, RHP Ross Wolf has been promoted from Double-A Frisco to the Express. The Illinois native took a loss in his only appearance with the RoughRiders, tossing 1.2 innings and giving up one run on three hits. He spent part of 2012 with the Express, making seven relief appearances. Wolf was signed by the Rangers as a free agent on April 26, 2012.

With these moves, the Express roster sits at 24 active players, one below the Pacific Coast League limit, with two on the disabled list.

The Express will take the field for a 7:05 p.m. first pitch against the I-Cubs tomorrow night for game two of the four-game set. Tuesday night will also be "Turn Back Tuesday," presented by Cedar Park Premier Dentistry which will include half-price tickets and the Express donning 1959 Austin Senators jerseys. George Shell, the business manager for the 1959 squad will be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
