Aberdeen, MD - The IronBirds took a 5-3 lead into the top of the ninth, but it was not enough as the Staten Island Yankees scored three runs off of two walks and two singles and won the game 6-5.

Aberdeen would strike in the second, when Jeremy Nowak hit a homerun off of the Maintenance shed beyond the IronBird bullpen in right field to tie the game at one. Wynston Sawyer followed with a single and then came around to score on Dudley Leonora's RBI double, giving Aberdeen a 2-1 lead.
