
WZBN to broadcast ECHL All-Star Game

TRENTON, NJ (January 21, 2006) - The Trenton Titans and WZBN-TV 25 announced on Friday that WZBN in Trenton will broadcast the 2006 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Bud Light live from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California on Wednesday, January 25 at 7:00pm PST (10:00pm EST). This broadcast is made possible with support from the Trenton Times, Trentonian, Yunegling Brewery and the Trenton Titans.
"We're excited to be able to provide live coverage of the 2006 ECHL All-Star Game to our fans here in Trenton," commented Titans' GM and COO, Jim Leahy. "Not only will Titans fans get a chance to see one of their own, Scott Bertoli, showcase his talents, but they'll also be able to see the skill of some of the best talent in the ECHL. I'd like to thank WZBN, the Trenton Times, the Trentonian, and Yuengling for their help with this venture."
Left-winger Scott Bertoli will represent the Trenton Titans as captain and starter for the 2006 American Conference All-Star Team. Bertoli is making his second All-Star appearance and also leads the Titans this season with 11 goals and 26 assists and 37 points.
The television broadcast crew for the 2006 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Bud Light will be Darren Abbott of the South Carolina Stingrays, OLN analyst Neil Smith and Jack Michaels of the Alaska Aces.
WZBN-TV 25, the New Jersey Capital Region's only local broadcast station, will air the game live on UHF Channel 25. Cable viewers will also be able to see it on Cablevision Channel 25 in Hamilton and Washington Townships and Allentown as well as Comcast Channel 19 in Trenton, Lawrence, Ewing, Hopewell, and Pennington.
The Trenton Titans host the Dayton Bombers tonight at 7:00pm at Sovereign Bank Arena. Tune into 91.3FM-WTSR to listen to all of the Titans hockey action or go to www.trentontitans.com to listen or watch live.
