Trenton Devils News Release

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans defeated the Dayton Bombers for the second night in a row, winning 8-3 in front of 5,159 at Sovereign Bank Arena.

In a fight filled game that saw 125 total penalty minutes, six Titans had multi-point performances to lead their team to one of its largest margins of victory this season. After goals from Mathieu Brunelle and Brian McConnell in the first period put the Titans up 2-0, the Bombers answered right back with two straight goals of their own to tied things at two apiece in the second period.

Matt Maglione's goal at 3:31 of the second put the Titans up 3-2, and they didn't look back from there. Trenton went on to score three more unanswered goals through the course of a penalty filled period.

The Titans were lead by Brunelle's two goals and one assist.

A strong special teams effort helped Trenton power past Dayton. The Titans scored four power play goals while going 2-for-3 on the penalty kill.

Trenton has their next game on Friday, January 227 at 7:30pm. Tune into 91.3 FM-WTSR or go to www.trentontitans.com to hear all of the Titans action.
