Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers® posted a 3-1-0 record this past week, beating Alaska twice and Phoenix once. The Wranglers started the week with a 3-2 win over Alaska on Tuesday night. The two teams played again in Las Vegas on Thursday with Alaska winning 3-0. The Wranglers took the third and final game of the series, besting the Aces 4-3 on Friday night. The Wranglers finished up the week with a 4-1 win at home on Sunday over Phoenix.

Las Vegas will visit Utah on Wednesday at 6:05 pm (PST) and Fresno on Friday night at 7:30 pm. Las Vegas needs one point to clinch a second consecutive National Conference and Pacific Division. Las Vegas is two points away from becoming the only team in ECHL history to record three straight 100-point seasons. Overall Record = 43-12-12, 98 Points Last Week = 3-1-0

Tuesday, March 18th

Alaska 2 at Las Vegas 3

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Alaska Aces 3-2 on Tuesday night in front of 4,554 fans at the Orleans Arena. Left wing Ryan Donally scored with just under ten minutes remaining in regulation to lift the Wranglers over the Aces. Goalie Daniel Manzato improved to 22-5-6 on the season, stopping 24 of 26 Alaska shots.

Thursday, March 20th

Alaska 3 at Las Vegas 0

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers were shutout by the Alaska Aces 3-0 on Thursday night in front of 4,386 fans at the Orleans Arena. Alaska's Chris Beckford-Tseu stopped all 29 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season with the Aces

Friday, March 21st

Alaska 3 at Las Vegas 4

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Alaska Aces 4-3 on Friday night in front of 7,427 fans at the Orleans Arena. Forward Aki Seitsonen completed his first career hat trick, by scoring a shorthanded and game-winning goal with 16-seconds remaining to lift Las Vegas over Alaska. Goalie Daniel Manzato stopped 20 of 23 Aces shots, improving to 23-5-6. Alaska's Chris Beckford-Tseu had a shutout string of 107:30 ended in the loss, stopping 24 of 28 Wranglers shots. Friday night's attendance of 7,427 is the third highest in team history.

Sunday, March 23rd

Phoenix 1 at Las Vegas 4

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Phoenix RoadRunners 4-1 on Sunday night in front of 4,575 fans at the Orleans Arena. Left wing Nathan Barrett scored twice as Las Vegas improved to 9-0-1 against Phoenix this season. Forwards Aki Seitsonen and Adam Miller also scored, while goalie Kevin Lalande stopped 25 of 26 shots, improving to 15-5-4.

Wranglers Roster Report - A Pair Called Up, A Pair Signed

The Las Vegas Wranglers announced this week that defenseman Mike Madill and center Tyler Mosienko have been loaned to the AHL. Mosienko headed to Bridgeport, while Madill was signed by Milwaukee. Rookies Adam Miller (C) and Jim Jorgensen (D) joined the team after wrapping up four years of collegiate hockey at Ferris State University.

Defensemen Gerry Burke, Brad Cole and Gord Baldwin remain in the AHL with Quad City. Rookie center Curtis Fraser remains with the AHL's San Antonio Rampage. Defenseman Tyson Strachan is still in the American Hockey League with Peoria. Defenseman Jason Jozsa also remains in Grand Rapids.

Center Chris Ferraro, defenseman Sean Owens and left wing Shawn Limpright all remain on the injured reserve.
