ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that forward Brian Bicek has been released by the club. Bicek appeared in seven games with the Jackals, posting a goal and an assist with a -2 rating and no penalty minutes.
Bicek, 22, was signed by the Jackals March 12 after completing his senior season at Western Michigan University of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. In 38 games with the Broncos this season, Bicek tallied three goals and nine points.
The Elmira Jackals wrap up a five-game home stand Wednesday night against the Trenton Devils in a 7:05 p.m. face-off at First Arena. It marks the final of three Jackals Trading Card Giveaway Nights with the first 2,000 fans entering the arena receiving the commemorative cards featuring your favorite Jackals.
