Wranglers Sign Gallagher

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) announced today that they have acquired forward Blake Gallagher in a trade with the Elmira Jackals for considerations.

Gallagher, a rookie from Dartmouth, NS, comes to Las Vegas via a trade with Elmira after concluding a strong college career by leading Cornell University in numerous offensive categories. During his senior campaign, Gallagher led the team with 18 goals and recorded 19 assists for a team-leading 37 points. The 5-7, 175-pound speedster was a multiple award recipient during the 2009-10 season for the Big Red, winning the Mark Weiss Award for determination and passion as well as the Ironman Award for his toughness.

The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.

The Wranglers host Victoria tonight, Saturday, October 23rd, at 7:05 pm. 2010-11 season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
