Modig Earns First Victory of the Season

JOHNSTOWN, PA -- Joey Haddad scored twice, and Andrew Lord finished with three points to lead the Nailers to a 4-1 win over the Trenton Devils Saturday night at the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown.

Goaltender Mattias Modig 29 saves, en route to his first professional career victory. In addition to Haddad's two goals, the Wheeling received tallies from Andrew Lord and Doug Rogers. The Nailers now improve to 3-1 on the season, and will look to go 3-0 on the weekend three games in three days slate.
