IN JUST A FEW HOURS...
The Elmira Jackals play their first road game of the season when they take on the Reading Royals at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa. at 7:05 p.m. Tonight's game is the Royals' 2010 home opener.
SAME OLD DONATI
Justin Donati had his third-straight multiple-point game in Elmira's 3-2 overtime loss to Wheeling on Friday. The Oakville, Ontario native recorded his first two goals of the season and is now tied for the team lead with Michael Dubuc with six points. Last season, Donati led the Jackals with 42 goals on his way to being named the ECHL's Rookie of the Year.
BACK ON THE ROAD
Tonight's road game is the first for Elmira since the second game of its 2010 American Conference Quarterfinal series with the Florida Everblades. Last season, the Jackals were 17-17-1-1 on the road and played their best away hockey later in the season. After starting off 2009-2010 3-0 in road games, the Jackals went through a 2-11-0-1 stretch away from First Arena from Nov. 7 to Dec. 27 before finishing the year 12-6-1-0 away from First Arena.
