Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers won 2-1 over the San Francisco Bulls tonight on special team goals, starting a three-game weekend with a win and clinching a playoff spot in the 2013 Kelly Cup Finals.

San Francisco took an early 1-0 lead on a shorthanded goal from left wing Yanni Gourde. The Wranglers responded five minutes later with a power play goal from right wing Sean Wiles, and the 1-1 tie held through the first period.

Wranglers left wing Adam Hughesman tallied the team's go-ahead goal 6:35 into the second on another power play opportunity, giving Las Vegas their first lead of the night. The 2-1 advantage carried over into the third as Wranglers goaltender Joe Fallon was tested 12 times that period, but the Bulls were unable to tally the game changer. The Wranglers took the 2-1 victory as the Bakersfield Condors fell 2-1 to the Alaska Aces, securing a playoff spot for Las Vegas in the 2013 Kelly Cup Finals.

The Wranglers continue their weekend with a game against the Colorado Eagles on Saturday, March 2, at 7:05 p.m. The team then rematches against the Bulls on Sunday, March 3, at 2:05 p.m., after which Wranglers players and front office staff will shave their heads in a fundraising effort for St. Baldrick's.
