Domingue Assigned from AHL Portland

Goaltender Louis Domingue has been re-assigned to the Gwinnett Gladiators from the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League by the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League.

Domingue appeared in two games with Portland and earned his first AHL win in a 6-3 victory over Providence on February 26th. He notched a 2.40 goals against average and a .931 save percentage and a 1-0-0-0 record in the AHL.

The 6-3, 200-pound netminder has appeared in 26 games for the Gladiators this season and posted a 16-8-2 record with a 2.94 GAA and a .894 save percentage. The rookie out of Mont St. Hilaire, PQ had split his previous four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League between Moncton and Quebec.

Domingue was a drafted in the fifth round with the 138th overall pick by the Coyotes in the 2010 NHL Draft.

Domingue should be available for the Gladiators for tonight's 7:00 p.m. tilt in Florida against the Everblades.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
