GREENVILLE, S.C. - March 2, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals have earned at least one standings point in each of their last six games. Tonight they go for seven straight in the second of back-to-back-to-back games on the road against the Greenville Road Warriors.

The Jackals are facing the Road Warriors tonight for the fourth of five meetings this season and the second of three at BI-LO Center. The Jackals are 2-0-1 against Greenville this season with both wins coming at First Arena. Elmira is 1-1-1 in regular season play all-time in Greenville. They also dropped a pair of playoff games here in April of 2011. Elmira and Greenville are almost identical statistically with only three points separating the teams in the standings while Elmira (197) has scored six more goals than Greenville (191) and the Road Warriors have allowed four fewer (173 to 177). Two of the three games between Elmira and Greenville have been decided by one goal.
Despite Elmira and Greenville only meeting a handful of times in their history, many players on both sides are familiar with each other. Andrew Rowe played 10 games with Greenville over his first two seasons, while Brendan Connolly played with Chaz Johnson in Elmira as a rookie in 2009-10. Ian Keserich and Sean Berkstresser were teammates with Johnstown in 2008-09, and Brandon Blandina trains with Berkstresser - a fellow Robert Morris University alum - in the summer.
