Matchup:

Orlando and Reading come together for the second straight game as the Solar Bears cap off an eight-game homestand tonight. The Solar Bears earned a 1-0 victory over the Royals on Thursday, as G Zoltan Hetenyi stopped all 29 shots he faced to collect the first shutout in Solar Bears ECHL history. Forward C.J. Severyn scored what turned out to be the only goal of the game at 8:56 of the first period. Severyn left the penalty box and set up F Rob Mignardi for a one-time chance. Mignardi's shot was stopped by Reading G Riley Gill, but the Solar Bears worked the puck to Severyn who made no mistake with his chance for the lone goal of the game. The contest marked the second time this season that Reading and Orlando have come together, with the Solar Bears earning a 1-1-0-0 record against the Royals.
