Wranglers agree to terms with Krischuk

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Jason Krischuk for the 2006-07 season.

Krishcuk recently completed a three-year stint at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, scoring eight times and chipping in 30 assists for a total of 38 points in 147 collegiate games. The 26-year old defenseman played three games without a point for the Idaho Steelheads last season. Prior to his college career, the Anchorage, AK native played 112 games in the USHL, scoring 18 goals and adding 34 assists for a total of 52 points.

Training camp opens on Thursday, October 5th when players report to Las Vegas for the beginning of camp. The team will hit the ice for the first time this Friday at 9:00 am at the Las Vegas Ice Center. Training camp includes two preseason games against the Phoenix Roadrunners. Las Vegas hosts Phoenix on Thursday, October 12th at the Orleans Arena at 7:05 pm. The Wranglers will play in Phoenix on Friday, October 13th at 7:15 pm. All practices at the Las Vegas Ice Center are open to the public. The Las Vegas Ice Center is located at 9295 West Flamingo Rd.

The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue. The Wranglers host the Victoria Salmon Kings for the home opener on Friday, November 3rd at 7:05 pm.
