Wranglers Add Rookie Defenseman Jorgensen

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers ® announced today signing of rookie defenseman Jim Jorgensen.

Jorgensen joins the Wranglers after four seasons at Ferris State University. For his college career, the Sault Ste. Marie native posted 30 assists and 38 points in 114 games. The 6-foot, 200-pounder defender also racked up 54 penalty minutes. As a sophomore in 2005-06, Jorgensen set collegiate highs and was the team's leading scorer among defensemen with 15 assists and 16 points in 32 games.

The Wranglers will host Alaska on Thursday and Friday night at 7:05 pm. The Wranglers will then embark on a three-game road trip with stops in Utah, Fresno and Phoenix.
