
Wolves Win in Dominating Fashion over Clippers at Home

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves (14-16) dominated the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario (16-15) on Saturday night, winning 140-104 at Wells Fargo Arena.
The 36-point margin of victory was Iowa's largest of the season.
Jaylen Johnson stuffed the stat sheet for Iowa, finishing with his second-career triple-double and first as a member of the Wolves. The forward tallied 23 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in 24 minutes of action and shot a remarkable 11-of-13 from the floor.
All five starters finished in double digits for Iowa with three more joining them with 10 or more points off the bench.
As a team the Wolves shot 52.5% (52-of-99) from the field, 38.7% (12-of-31) from beyond the arc and 80.0% (18-of-20) from the free throw line.
James Webb III and Lindell Wigginton each finished with 20 points for the home team. Webb added six rebounds and shot 8-of-14 from the floor while Wigginton produced seven rebounds, four assists and three three-pointers made.
Iowa led for all but the first 1:08 of the game, leading by as many as 40 points during the contest.
Two-way forward Johnathan Motley scored a game-high 33 points on 10-of-20 shooting for the Clippers. The former Baylor standout added nine rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots.
Iowa finishes its two-game homestand Tuesday morning with a 10:30 a.m. CT start time against the Westchester Knicks.
