--The Chicago Wolves stifled the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks in the third period
- killing off a five-minute power play and a two-minute, two-man advantage -
to hold onto a 3-2 victory at the Allstate Arena
--Left wing STEVE MALTAIS recorded the power-play game-winner, and centers
DANIEL CORSO and BRENDAN YAREMA also scored
--Netminder KARI LEHTONEN registered 23 saves in the win

--The Wolves allowed three goals in the third period to fall, 5-3, against
the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks at the Allstate Arena
--Defenseman SHAWN HEINS registered two assists in the game
--Centers BRENDAN YAREMA and KAMIL PIROS, and right wing JIM CAMPBELL all
scored a goal for the Wolves
--Goaltender KARI LEHTONEN posted 22 saves on 26 shots in his first loss in

KARL STEWART: Extended his point streak to six games (Jan. 2 to present) with an assist on Sunday (2G, 6A) ... Shares first in the league with a +17 plus/minus rating ... Paces the team and ranks second among AHL rookies with 19 assists ... Ranks third on the Wolves and shares fifth among league first-year pros with 24 points
STEVE MALTAIS: Currently on a six-game point streak (Jan. 2 to present), posting seven points (3G, 4A) during that span ... Paces the club with 29 points and shares the team-lead with five power-play goals ... Ranks second on the Wolves with 12 goals and 17 assists

ERIC HEALEY: Tallied five points in his last four games, which includes back-to-back two-point games on Jan. 4 and Jan. 7 ... Paces the club with 13 goals and ranks second on the team with 25 points and four power-play goals
