Chicago Wolves News Release

OKLAHOMA CITY --- The Chicago Wolves started off their circus road trip with a bang, defeating the Oklahoma City Barons 6-0 Friday night at the Cox Convention Center.

Forwards Shane Harper (2G, A), Ty Rattie (2G, A), and Keith Aucoin (2G, A) paced the Wolves offense with three points each, while centers Alexandre Bolduc (2G) and Corey Locke (2A) added two-point efforts. Goaltender Jake Allen (4-2-1) backstopped Chicago (4-5-0-1) to the win, stopping all 21 Barons shots and earning the shutout.

The Wolves broke out offensively in the second period after a scoreless first, hanging five goals on Oklahoma City (4-6-0-1) starter Olivier Roy (1-2-0).

Harper kicked off the scoring just 0:51 seconds in, showing chemistry on a passing play with linemates Rattie and Aucoin. Rattie followed up with a goal of his own 10 minutes later and Harper nabbed his second not long after. The line of Aucoin, Rattie, and Harper combined for nine points on the night.

Bolduc added two markers of his own, the first on the power play and just 30 seconds after Harper's, within five minutes of each other. Roy was chased from the game after two frames and 16 saves. He took the loss and was replaced by Tyler Bunz, who stopped six of seven shots in the third period.

Rattie tallied his second of the night in the final frame, taking a pass in front of the net from Harper to score into the open goal.

Chicago faces Oklahoma City again at 7 p.m. Saturday night at the Cox Convention Center.
