Utica Comets News Release

Throughout the month of November the Utica Comets will grow mustaches for "Movember," a month-long initiative aimed at raising funds and awareness for cancers that affect men. The Comets have also dubbed their game on Nov. 26 against Lake Erie as "Movember Night".

Many members of the Comets roster and staff, including President Robert Esche, will help change the face of men's health by growing mustaches for the entire month and are encouraging fans to join them. Updates on the team's progress will be posted throughout the month on www.uticacomets.com as well as on the team's social media outlets.

Fans will be able to vote on the player with the best mustache and crown him the team's inaugural "Mr. Movember" during the game on Nov. 26.

Fans also invited to submit the photos of their own 'staches by posting them on the Comets Facebook page (www.facebook.com/uticacomets) or by tagging the Comets on Twitter (@uticacomets). Fan photos will be displayed on the video boards at The AUD at games throughout the month.

Of course Comets fans can register at www.movember.com and start with a clean-shaven face. For more details on the Utica Comets participation and ways to contribute to "Movember", please visit the Comets MoSpace page.
