
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Homestand Highlights: June 1-3

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are home to begin their final homestand of the first half on Friday night. The three-game set with the Kane County Cougars is just the beginning of the long stay at home. The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers have an off day on Monday before returning to action with series against Quad Cities (June 5-7) and Cedar Rapids (June 8-11). There will be more on those series later. Right now, here is a look at the promotions, giveaways, and special events coming up for the series with Kane County at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
- FRIDAY, June 1 at 7:05pm; Pirate Night with an Eye-Patch Giveaway for Children 14 & Under; Arty's Old Fashioned Friday with WIXX; Kids Run the Bases presented by Menasha Corporation; Postgame Fireworks Display presented by FOX 11: The toughest team to sail the Seven Seas start the homestand with Pirate Night. Hoist the Jolly Roger and head out for a parley at the park. The first 500 children ages 14 & under will receive a Timber Rattlers eye-patch from North Shore Bank. Arty's Old Fashioned drinks will be available to fans 21 and over for $3 on an Arty's Old Fashioned Friday. Stick around after the game to enjoy a FOX11 postgame fireworks display. Children 14 and under may participate in Kids Run the Bases thanks to Menasha Corporation after the fireworks display.
- SATURDAY, June 2 at 7:05pm; Milwaukee Bucks Night; North Shore Bank Family Night with WIXX; Kids Run the Bases presented by Meijer; Festival Foods Postgame Fireworks: Own the Future right now! The Timber Rattlers will celebrate the Milwaukee Bucks inviting Bango, the Bucks Dancers, Bucks Grand Dancers, and the Hoop Troop to help out with the promotions at the ballpark. There will plenty more happening on a North Shore Bank Family Night with WIXX. Festival Foods presents the postgame fireworks. After the fireworks, children 14 and under may run the bases courtesy of Meijer.
- SUNDAY, June 3 at 1:05pm; Chase Anderson Bobblehead courtesy of Ripon College; Sun Safety Day presented by Forefront Dermatology; Brewers Sunday with Star 98; Catch on the Field; Player Autographs: The first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a bobblehead of Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Chase Anderson, who made a rehabilitation start with the Timber Rattlers last year, courtesy of Ripon College. Sun Safety Day is part of MiLB's Cover Your Bases Sun Safety initiative with the American Cancer Society. The initiative promotes awareness and prevention of skin cancer, the importance of screenings, and precautions to protect skin from excessive sun exposure. Forefront Dermatology will be at the game for Sun Safety Day for some tips on how you can get the most enjoyment out of a safe, fun day full of sunshine and handing out Blue Lizard Sunscreen samples. Fans may play catch on the field starting at noon. During the game, Timber Rattlers players and coaches will be wearing their 2018 Brewers Sunday jerseys. Players will be available for a postgame autograph session sponsored by Tundraland.
Partial season, group ticket packages, and individual game tickets for the 2018 season are on sale now. Tickets are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person. Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturdays.
