PAMONA, N.Y. -- Nate Wilder slugged a go-ahead grand slam in the sixth inning to help lead the Saltdogs (41-58) to a 7-6 victory over the Rockland Boudlers (47-52) at Provident Bank Park Sunday evening.

Wilder's laser of a grand slam was tucked neatly inside the right field foul pole to give the Lincoln Northstar product his second professional homer, and the 'Dogs a 7-5 lead.

Ryan Sheldon (7-4) pitched five innings, allowing five runs on eight hits to get the win. Rob Savarese (0-1) allowed two runs on one hit in relief to suffer the loss.

P.J. Zocchi allowed a solo shot in the bottom of the ninth but buckled down to earn his 24th save, extending his own single-season club record.

The teams are back at it Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. for the rubber match and the season finale. Radio coverage begins at 12:35 p.m. on KFOR 1240.
