Laredo 6, Gary SouthShore 5

The Laredo Lemurs tallied two runs in the top of the ninth inning to overcome a 5-4 deficit and beat the Gary SouthShore RailCats, 6-5. With the victory, the Lemurs clinch the South Division and head into the playoffs to face Wichita. Centerfielder Stephen Douglas led the Laredo offense going 4-for-5 with a run scored and a RBI. Lemurs C Brian Peterson and 2B Anthony Scelfo each had two hits in the game while SS Jimmy Mojica chipped in with his ninth home run of the season. Laredo reliever Mark Haynes notched his fourth win of the season as he tossed scoreless two innings and struck out two batters.

Fargo-Moorhead 15, Winnipeg 1

Fargo-Moorhead rolled out to a 4-0 lead after three innings and would cruise from there to a 15-1 win over Winnipeg. The RedHawks had 17 hits in the game with six players collecting at least two. Fargo-Moorhead's 1-2-3 hitters of SS Zach Penprase, LF Buddy Sosnoskie and DH Nic Jackson went a combined 8-for-17 at the plate with seven runs scored and six RBI. RedHawks 3B Eric Campbell and C Ryan Delgado chipped in with home runs as well. Fargo-Moorhead starting pitcher Ethan Opsahl tossed 7 1/3 solid innings en route to his first win of the season. Opsahl allowed an earned run on eight hits with three strikeouts.
