Wild prospect Patrick O'Sullivan just couldn't wait any longer to make the world hockey stage his own.

Minnesota's second round pick in the 2003 NHL Entry draft scored two goals, including the game-winner Monday as Team USA earned a dramatic 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Canada in the Gold Medal Game of the 2004 World Junior Championship.

Wild RW Brent Burns and his Team Canada squad led 3-1 entering the third period, but Team USA (6-0) notched three unanswered goals to hand Team Canada (5-1) its only loss of the tournament.

O'Sullivan started the final frame rally, pulling Team USA to within one with a goal 4:39 into the third.

After another Team USA goal two minutes later, O'Sullivan notched the game-winner with just over five minutes remaining in the game to earn Team USA the gold medal.
