Tonight's Matchup: The Brandon Wheat Kings continue a heavy home schedule this afternoon when the Lethbridge Hurricanes come to town. The Canes have dropped five straight, including a 5-1 loss in Winnipeg last night. Brandon's last date with Lethbridge at Westoba Place was on January 25th, 2020.

Last Time Out: 6-1 L @ Regina Pats: The Wheat Kings dropped a 6-1 road decision in Regina last Saturday. Rylen Roersma scored the lone BWK goal, while Carson Bjarnason stopped 38 of the 44 shots he faced. The loss was Brandon's third in a row.

Runaway Rookie: Rylen Roersma (7G-5A) has scored the last three Wheat Kings goals. The Lethbridge, AB native has four goals in his last five games and sits seventh in rookie scoring in the WHL. Last year in the Hub, Roersma scored just once in 17 games.

Lethbridge Ties: Rylen Roersma and Ridly Greig will face off against their hometown team this afternoon. For Roersma, it's his first time suiting up against the 'Canes. Meanwhile, Assistant Coach Dan Johnston spent parts of four seasons with the Hurricanes from 2010 to 2013.

Get Cozy: This afternoon marks the beginning of a six-game homestand for the Wheat Kings, the longest of the season. Brandon is currently 2-4-0-0 at Westoba Place.
