Gage Alexander made 27 saves as the Winnipeg ICE earned their third straight win in the midst of a five game homestand with a 5-1 decision over the Lethbridge Hurricanes Wednesday night.
Connor McClennon's team and WHL leading 12th and 13th goals of the season led the way offensively, while Zach Benson, Matthew Savoie and Jakin Smallwood rounded out the scoring as the ICE improve their record to 15-1.
Yegor Kladiev had the lone goal for the Hurricanes. Bryan Thompson suffered the loss in goal stopping 30 of 34.
Winnipeg was 2/4 on the power play, Lethbridge went 0/3.
