
Westchester Knicks Acquire Devondrick Walker

WHITE PLAINS - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, announced today that the team has acquired guard Devondrick Walker from the available player pool.
Walker, 6-5, 205 pounds, last played for the Austin Spurs, the D-League affiliate of the San Antonio Spurs. In 34 games for the Spurs last season, Walker averaged 3.0 points and 1.5 rebounds over 11.0 minutes of play.
Westchester also announced that forward Sean Marshall has left the team to play with Telekom Baskets Bonn of the German Basketball League.
The Westchester Knicks return to the Westchester County Center for a pair of games this weekend, beginning Friday, Jan. 22 at 7:00 p.m. Facing the NBA D-League's newest franchise, Raptors 905, for the first time at home, the Westchester Knicks will host Noche Latina, presented by Yonkers Kia, to support the Westchester Hispanic Law Enforcement Association and El Centro Hispano. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive Westchester Knicks Thundersticks. Westchester will then host the Erie BayHawks on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 5:00 p.m. for Maria Fareri Children's Hospital Night, presented by Main Street Pediatric Dentistry. The first 1,400 fans in attendance will receive a Westchester Knicks foam finger.
