
Iowa Energy Fall to the Raptors 905

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Energy (12-11) fell 98-94 to the Raptors 905 (7-18) Monday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
The Energy were led by Memphis Grizzlies assignee James Ennis with 21 points, five rebounds and four assists. Joel Wright added 17 points and nine rebounds. The Raptors were led by Ronald Roberts, Jr. with 19 points and 18 rebounds.
It was a close start to the game in the first with five lead changes. The Energy jumped out to an early five-point lead before the Raptors opened up a six-point at the end of the first quarter. Iowa trailed 30-24, with nine points coming from Ennis. The 905 were able to extend their lead to 14 points at halftime behind eight points from Roberts, Jr and 36 points in the paint. The Raptors led the Energy 58-44 at halftime.
The 905 continued to control the game in the third quarter, extending their lead to 17 points. Iowa trailed 80-63 heading into the fourth quarter. Iowa was able to make it a game in the fourth. They fought back to close the gap down to just four points in the closing minute. Iowa's rally would come up short with a couple of late free-throws sealing the win for the Raptors, 98-94.
The Energy travel to Sioux Falls on Tuesday and return home Saturday at 7pm against the Delaware 87ers.
