RENO, Nev. - The Oklahoma City Blue fell to the Reno Bighorns, 133-120, on Sunday at the Reno Events Center despite six Blue players scoring in double figures.
Oklahoma City was led by Marquis Teague with 27 points, six assists and four rebounds. Talib Zanna produced 20 points and 13 boards and JP Tokoto scored 16 points with six rebounds and four assists. Off the bench, Tomislav Zubcic notched 11 points while Mustapha Farrakhan and Dez Wells each scored 10.
The first half featured 15 lead changes before Reno took a 69-68 lead into the break. The Blue shot 55.1 percent from the field and distributed 17 assists in the first two quarters.
The Bighorns extended their lead by closing the third period with a 10-2 run in the final three minutes. Oklahoma City cut its deficit to five midway through the fourth, but Reno quickly rebuilt its lead and held on for the win.
Oklahoma City (7-16) forced 20 Bighorn turnovers.
Reno (14-9) was led by Erick Green's 30 points on 9-of-17 shooting.
