Heading into this week with three straight wins, the Hamilton Bulldogs sit tied for 11th place in the American Hockey League's Western Conference standings, seven points back of a playoff spot, with three important home games coming up this weekend at FirstOntario Centre.

On Friday, March 7th, the Bulldogs will host the Oklahoma City Barons (AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers) at 7:30 p.m. in the first of two matchups between these teams in 2013-2014, as well as Oklahoma's only visit to Hamilton this season.

On Saturday, March 8th, the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins (AHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins) will visit the 'Dogs at FirstOntario Centre at 7:00 p.m. The game will be the Penguins' only stop in Hamilton this season and the first of two contests between the teams in 2013-2014.

On Sunday, March 9th, Hamilton will take on the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) at 3:00 p.m. for the ninth of 10 contests between the two clubs in 2013-2014, as well as their final matchup at FirstOntario Centre this season.

Bulldogs season ticket holders will have a chance to skate with the team on Sunday, March 9th, following the game against the Lake Erie Monsters. This skate is exclusive to season ticket holders.


The Bulldogs will be in Flamborough on Tuesday, March 11th for a community practice at North Wentworth Community Centre at 6:30 p.m. Fans will have a chance to watch the club practise for an hour, then join the 'Dogs on the ice following practice for a skate and autographs.


The Bulldogs will honour Canadian women's hockey Olympic gold medalists Meghan Agosta-Marciano and Laura Fortino on Wednesday, March 19th, when Hamilton hosts the Abbotsford Heat at FirstOntario Centre at 7:30 p.m. Agosta-Marciano and Fortino will be available for autographs and pictures at the game.


Catch Dog Bites on Y108 on Thursday, March 6th when defenceman Morgan Ellis joins the morning show between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. to discuss all things Bulldogs!


Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Hour is an interactive one-hour radio show on AM 900 CHML co-hosted by Hamilton Bulldogs Play-By-Play Announcer Derek Wills and Colour Commentator Al Craig. It consists of segments such as week-in-reviews, week-in-previews and live interviews with Hamilton Bulldogs coaches and players. The next show is scheduled for Monday, March 3rd from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., when forwards Maxime Macenauer and Joonas Nattinen join as guests.
