Davies Recalled, McKelvie Assigned

Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced today that defenceman Zach Davies has been recalled to the Abbotsford Heat from the Alaska Aces, the Heat's developmental affiliate in the ECHL. The Heat also announced that forward Zach McKelvie has been assigned to the Alaska Aces.

Davies, a native of Smithers, BC has played in 31 games this season for the Aces recording 17 points (7-10-17), and 19 penalty minutes. This is Davies first AHL recall of his career.

The Heat will host the Texas Stars (AHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars) on Tuesday, March 4th and Wednesday, March 5th.
