Oklahoma City Comets News Release

Oklahoma City - This weekend at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark the Oklahoma City RedHawks will host Pack the Park Pink, presented by MidFirst Bank, and recognize this month's Chesapeake Community All-Star as they continue their current homestand against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.

The RedHawks will wear special pink jerseys Saturday as part of Pack the Park Pink. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game, with proceeds benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support.

The RedHawks will also honor Ann Storms as August's Chesapeake Community All-Star Sunday. Storms spends countless hours volunteering at Novo Ministries, an organization that seeks to bring positive change to the lives of children and inner-city communities through after-school programs.

In addition, the OKC Disc Dogs will be entertaining the crowd throughout the night Saturday, and Sunday will be another Kids Run the Bases day following the game.

Full press releases for both Pack the Park Pink and this month's Cheaspeake Community All-Star are attached.

The RedHawks are currently on a season-best seven-game winning streak and are tied for first place in the American Southern Division. Tickets for this weekend's games are available through the RedHawks ticket office on S. Mickey Mantle Drive, by phone at (405) 218-1000 or by visiting okcredhawks.com.
