Walleye Release John May and Mike Wilson

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that forward John May and defenseman Mike Wilson have been released.

May has appeared in four games this season with Toledo and has scored one goal and one assist. The 29-year-old from Livonia, MI also skated in five games for the Walleye in 2009-10.

Wilson played two games for Toledo, notching one goal. The 37-year-old veteran from Brampton, Ontario also skated in two games last season for the Walleye.

The Toledo Walleye will be back on home ice tomorrow (March 3) to take on the Reading Royals at 7:00 pm. Toledo will then skate on pink ice and wear special pink jerseys on Friday night at the Huntington Center, taking on the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:00 pm.
