Waldrop Tosses Complete Game Shutout

Beloit starter Kyle Waldrop tossed a complete game shutout, yielding four hits over nine innings. Waldrop struck out five and walked one. The Snappers offense pounded out a season high 16 hits, all of them were singles. Paul Kelly gave Beloit a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the third. Henry Sanchez pushed the Snappers lead to 3-0 with a two-run single in the third. Allan De San Miguel hit a two-run single in the fifth, giving Beloit a 5-0 lead. Toby Gardenhire drove in his first run of the season in the seventh, pushing the Snappers advantage to 6-0. Every Snapper that batted got a hit. Waldrop upped his record to 3-2.

Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers travel to Clinton, Iowa for a four game series with the LumberKings May 16-19.
