Vladimir Dravecky Assigned To Reading

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that the Monarchs have assigned forward Vladimir Dravecky ["drah VETCH kee"] to Reading. In a separate transaction, the Royals released forward Ryan MacGregor.

This marks the second trip of the season to Reading for Dravecky (5'10"/185) (22), who picked up an assist in his one game with the Royals earlier this season, a 5-3 win over the Cincinnati Cyclones on January 13, 2008. Dravecky, who hails from Kosice, Slovakia, has scored three goals and picked up nine assists in thirty-one games with Manchester this season. MacGregor scored a goal, assisted on two others (three points) and picked up nine penalty minutes in thirteen games with the Royals.

The Royals return to action tonight (Saturday, February 16; 7:05 pm), when the Texas Wildcatters visit the Sovereign Center. Tonight, the Royals host "Cowboy/Rodeo Night," and the first 2000 fans will receive a Royals' cowboy hat. The game night broadcast on Saturday will begin at 6:35 pm with the pre-game warm-up show on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Ephrata, as well as on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com. Streaming video is available on a pay per view basis through the B2 Networks.
