The SeaWolves tied the game in the top of the sixth against Binghamton starter Josh Stinson. Cesar Nicolas doubled off the wall in left with one out and moved to third on a single by Rawley Bishop. On a pickoff attempt at first, Stinson threw the ball away, allowing Nicolas to score making it a 1-1 game.

Marshall Hubbard followed with a double off of reliever Josh Rainwater, scoring Satin for a 2-1 lead. Hubbard would score on a two-out triple by Brahiam Maldonado for a 3-1 Mets advantage.

Erie would get no closer as relievers Eric Niesen and John Lujan held the 'Wolves scoreless over the final two innings of the game.
