The SeaWolves look to make it two straight wins as they begin a four-game series at NYSEG Stadium against the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets). Last night, the SeaWolves jumped ahead in the second inning and went on for a 4-1 win over Reading, salvaging the final game of the series. The win was Erie's first since the All-Star break and it snapped a six-game losing streak...The 'Wolves will send righty Brayan Villarreal to the mound tonight making his Double-A debut. Villarreal made 16 starts with Class-A Lakeland going 7-4 with a 3.47 ERA. He struck out 90 hitters in 85.2 innings pitched. Villarreal took a loss in his last start against Palm Beach allowing two runs on four hits with no walks and six strikeouts in six innings of work...Righty Josh Stinson takes the mound for the B-Mets making his 28th appearance and 10th start. Stinson was moved into the rotation on May 30 and has started nine consecutive games. In his last start against New Hampshire, he allowed a run on seven hits with three walks and six strikeouts in six innings pitched. Stinson has won three straight starts and is 5-0 with two no-decisions in his last seven starts. Stinson tossed four shutout innings on April 14 against Erie earning his first win. In 6.1 innings of relief against the SeaWolves, Stinson has allowed just one run.
