Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings will have to fight for home ice advantage and the North Division crown tonight without one of their top offensive weapons in the lineup. Earlier this morning, forward Yannick Veilleux was reassigned by the St. Louis Blues to the Chicago Wolves.
For the K-Wings, Veilleux is the third player in the past 24 hours to be called-up to the AHL.
In 62 games this season, Veilleux has recorded 39 points (16 goals, 23 assists) for Kalamazoo
By heading to the Wolves, Veilleux becomes the 27th member of the K-Wings this season to be either reassigned or loaned to an AHL club.
The K-Wings will conclude their regular season tonight, Saturday, April 12th versus the Evansville IceMen on Fan Appreciation Night, featuring our post-game player awards ceremony.
