ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign (44-20-3-4), back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, fell 3-1 the Bakersfield Condors (36-29-2-4) in their final game of the 2013-14 season before a crowd of 8,618 at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Saturday night.

Just as both teams went back to even strength from the first penalties of the night, the Condors crashed the net and Ryan Little found a gap between J.P. Anderson and the right post to take a 1-0 lead at 5:54. With just five seconds left in the first period Rocco Carzo picked up a perfect feed from Maxim Kitsyn, split the Condors defense for a clear shot past Laurent Brossoit to tie the game. Sacha Guimond earned the secondary assist.

The puck crossed the Reign's goal line early in the second but was waived off. Moments later, a shot made its way past Anderson to put the Condors ahead 2-1 at 3:52. The shot came off the stick of Joe Marciano.

With just 2:19 left in regulation, the Condors extended their lead to 3-1 with a wide shot from Matt Thurber. The puck sailed clean past the glove of Anderson.

Brossoit earned the win with 30 saves; Anderson suffered the loss with 28 saves.
