
Vees Swap Draft Picks with Edmonton Oil Kings

The Penticton Vees announced Monday they have swapped draft picks with the Edmonton Oil Kings, ahead of the CHL Import Draft on Wednesday.
The Vees acquired a second-round pick, 98th overall, in the 2025 CHL Import Draft from the Oil Kings, in exchange for a third-round selection (138th overall) in the 2025 CHL Import Draft and a eighth-round pick in the 2027 WHL Prospects Draft.
After today's trade, the Vees hold the 62nd, 98th, and 123rd selections in the 2025 CHL Import Draft, which is set for Wednesday, July 2nd, at 8:00 am PT.
