West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies scored three first period goals, and held on for a 3-2 win over the San Diego Gulls Wednesday night at the E-Center. The victory is Utah's second in a row.

In the first period, Garett Cameron scored his 14th goal of the year at 4:32, with Ryan Kinasewich and Travis Rycroft adding assists. Less than four minutes later, Kinasewich scored his 23rd of the year for the Grizzlies giving the team a 2-0 lead. Utah went up 3-0 at 16:58, with Garett Cameron again lighting the lamp for his second goal of the game. The Grizzlies were outshot 31-17 over the final two periods, and held on despite two San Diego goals early in the third period.

San Diego's chance of playing with an extra attacker in the third, was negated with a Jesse Bennefield high-sticking penalty at 19:04.

Justin Eddy stopped 38 of 40 shots, picking up his 12th win of the year.

The Grizzlies return to the E-Center Friday with San Diego, and Saturday hosting Las Vegas. Face-offs both nights are scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
