
Wranglers Loan Defenseman Sloan To AHL

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Tyler Sloan has been loaned to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League. Las Vegas will visit Utah at 6:05 pm (PST) on Saturday night.
Sloan is expected to play for the Moose this weekend in Winnipeg, MAN against the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights. The 24-year old played in 29 games for Las Vegas this year, notching two goals and dishing out 11 assists for 13 points. Sloan leaves with the seventh best plus / minus at +13. The Calgary native missed 17 games from December 18th to January 25th due to an injury. Sloan returns to the AHL after splitting time between Syracuse (AHL) and Dayton (ECHL) over the last three seasons. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder has 122 career games in the AHL with four goals and seven assists for 11 points, as well as racking up 114 penalty minutes. Sloan becomes the ninth member of the Wranglers to move on to the AHL this season.
Las Vegas will head to Utah to take on the Grizzlies at 6:05 pm (PST) this Saturday. The Wranglers will return to the Orleans Arena to start a six-game home stand starting next Tuesday with the San Diego Gulls at 7:05 pm. The Wranglers will hand out 2,000 "The Duke" dodgeballs on Friday, February 17th. Las Vegas will host Fresno at 7:05 pm on the 17th. The Wranglers will round out next weekend by welcoming in the Utah Grizzlies at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena. Prior to the game from 4:30-6:30 fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game Party in the concourse of the Orleans Arena.
Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to all Wranglers home games at any of the following ticket locations: The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, South Coast and Suncoast, or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers.
