Cole recalled to Philly

The Augusta Lynx announced today that defenseman Phil Cole has been recalled to the American Hockey League's Philadelphia Phantoms for their game this evening against the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins.

The 23-year-old Winnipeg, Manitoba native marks his fourth consecutive season with AHL experience with tonight's game. Cole had previously skated with the Albany River Rats, beginning with four games during the 2002-03 season followed by 57 more AHL games over the next two years.

This season with Augusta, the 6-4, 197 lb. rearguard has recorded a goal and eight points along with 70 minutes in penalties and a -6 rating.

Augusta will take on the Charlotte Checkers this Friday night at 7:35 pm to kick off Margaritaville Weekend. Saturday night the Lynx host the defending Kelly Cup Champion Trenton Titans at 7:35 pm, followed by a road rematch with the Checkers at 4 pm on Sunday in Charlotte.
