
Utah Begins Two-Game Set Versus Grand Rapids

The Grizzlies (20-47-2-5) and the Grand Rapids Griffins (39-31-2-2) meet tonight for the seventh time this season and in the first of back-to-back games. The two games versus the Griffins are the final two home games of the 2004-05 season for the Grizzlies. Grand Rapids is currently sitting in the fifth spot in the Western Division trailing Cincinnati by a point for the fourth spot (top four teams make the playoffs). Last night, Grand Rapids had an impressive offensive showing against the San Antonio Rampage outgunning them 7-4. Former Grizzly Kip Miller led the way with five points (3-2 -5). Utah has lost three straight home games and are coming off a 5-3 loss on Wednesday night to Houston. Last weekend in Grand Rapids, the two teams split a pair of games with both decisions coming in shootouts. Utah is 3-2-0-1 this season versus the Griffins.
Next Game: The Grizzlies final home game of the season will be tomorrow night versus the Griffins. Face-off scheduled for7:05 PM.
