CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Barons will host Golden Retrievers In Need (G.R.I.N.) at their game against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks on Sunday, April 10th on the National City Rink located in Gund Arena at 5pm.

G.R.I.N. is a full-service golden retriever rescue group based in Northeast Ohio. The volunteer driven campaign is a non-profit organization that has rescued over 1,400 dogs in the last 12 years. As well as generating awareness for the philanthropic organization, the Barons have also assisted the group in their fundraising efforts.

The festivities on Sunday will be kicked off with a unique fashion. Bear the Golden Retriever will drop the game's first puck at center ice. Bear is the first quadruped to drop a puck prior to a Barons game.

Throughout the game, G.R.I.N. will have a concourse display with information on their organization and fans will have the opportunity to meet a variety of Golden Retrievers. More information regarding G.R.I.N. can be accessed at www.grinrescue.org.

Barons tickets can be purchased at all TicketMaster Outlets, the Gund Arena Box Office, and charge-by-phone by calling 216-241-5555. More information about the Barons is available by calling 216-420-0000 or by Crashing The Net at www.clevelandbarons.net.
